From Robert Wayman’s catalog of 1932: “28 inches. Early. A recent French introduction and a very fine flower of brilliant violet coloring.”

Note: Andromède hit the North American stage in 1929. It was simultaneously released in Canada by McDonald & Sons of Ottawa; and in the USA by the Schreiners, then of St. Paul, Minnesota.
