From Schreiner’s Iris Lover’s Catalog 1973 (its introduction year): “One of our two cover iris classed as a blue amoena and likened to FUJI’s MANTLE by judges, but there the likeness ends. Glorious in form, varied and rich in its liquiescent purity. Pure frost white standards, beautiful from start to finish. Full broad falls expand to give this flower a feeling of undulating easy grace; each of the petals graceful and neatly disposed. The falls are creamy white graduating to an imperceptible blue wash intensified at the very edges to a precise cirumspect blue rim. Significantly this edging of color intensifies under conditions of warmth which othe riris might fade. Tall, there branches well spaced with 8 to 9 buds. Highly commended. AIS ’72”.
