TB 36″ M

From Eden Road Iris Garden catalog for 1973: “Standards are a blend of grey, lavender-blue, and fawn-tan. Falls are blue-black overcast blended brown. Uniquely different. Well branched. Sure to breed unusual things.”

From Schreiner’s 1984 catalog: “This iris is absolutely unique; so startlingly different, a subtle colored iris in an unusual balance of nearly indescribably smoky toned standards with the full syncopation of rich, silken, dark blue-black falls. The infusion of muted brown and fawn tan lends this bi-tone an aura of mystery. The name is most suggestive; an appropriately portraying the fascinating mood of this iris. ”
