TB 36″ M W2

From Iris City Gardens catalog for 1940: “A plicata that, for its floriferousness, its ability to increase, and its hardiness, we strongly recommend. The large full standards are white, splashed with blue; the white flaring falls are button-holed with blue and have a few chestnut venations at the haft.

From Robert Wayman’s catalog for 1940: “A fine new large ‘plicata’ with excellent substance and perfect form. White ground, peppered and veined blue, the veining changing to gold along the beard. The effect is striking, and the flower is exceptionally beautiful.”
