TB 30″ E

From Cooley’s Gardens catalog for 1951: “A lively rose and orchid toned pink, distinctive and quite different in color from the flamingo pinks. The coloring is smooth and luscious, more vivid than most in this series. Beard is tangerine red. Beautiful branching, above average size, stout 30″ stems.”

From Wild’s of Missouri catalog for 1954 “E.M. 30″ Most attractive lovely tones of rose and orchid-lavender with a flush of golden yellow at the throat of the flower. The tangerine beard illuminates this fantasy of color. Not a tall Iris but when it bloomed in our garden, four blooms opened at one time on the well branched stalk.”

(from pink blend Sdlgs), HM 1947, AM 1949.
