TB 34″ ML S9L

From Carl Salbach’s catalog for 1939: “A very fine coffee colored blend that is greatly enlivened by the yellow undertone and is very suave in appearance. Good branching and habit. Technically – standards vinaceous tawny, falls army brown. 34-inch. Mid-season.”

From Cooley’s Gardens catalog for 1940: “A new fawn-brown blend, showing quite a resemblance to our own introduction Far West. It carries more mauve tones, is a trifle lighter in general effect, slightly ruffled.”

From National Iris Gardens catalog for 1942: “Brown blend. Open standards of bronze-buff; semi-flaring falls of bronze-brown, washed blue and veined deeper brown on amber ground at haft. Slightly fragrant, large flowers on good stalks.”
