TB 48″ EM

From Stevens Bros. catalog for 1965-66: “Bred from the self coloured Foaming Seas and the lovely amoenas of Paul Cook’s Progenitor strain, this iris is outstanding in any garden. A huge flower with beautifully held standards of blue toned white, merging through a pale haft and beard to a rich toned medium blue fall, ruffled and beautifully flared. Tall and well branched this lovely new variety is destined for long popularity. Pleasing in its soft yet rich colour combination Sparkling Seas has all the virtues of vigour and free-flowering habits.”

(Cook 216-55 X Foaming Seas).
